A forest takes 80-100 years to grow...
The same amount of cellulose (=paper) can be grown in one year..
Hemp does not need pesticides like cotton does, it does not need manure.
Because of the shape of the roots, it is perfect to prevent soil erosion. It is more durable as Cotton, the cloth woven from it can be as smooth and tightly woven as silk....
Where do you think the word CANVASS finds its origin in...

It can provide paper, food, composites, oil, and methanol....

That's the sad truth indeed. The people just forget about these things, they even ignore it.

In the netherlands now also all kinds of natural plants like paddo's are forbidden to grow. It's really pathetic what our governments are doing to control the production and money in this world. And nobody seems to care.

Sorry about that, I didn't have time to look at the documentary yet, but I agree there is too much hypocritical reaction to the growing of Hemp as a crops.

I do agree to the stop on selling paddo's in Amsterdam though. Cutting yourself with glass and jumping out of hotel windows because you thing you can fly is not my idea of fun. I think the body's reaction to paddo's is just too strong to warrant the sale.

what are paddo's ??

Paddo's is short for the dutch word "paddestoelen", also known as magic mushrooms. You know all about those don't you.

ah right can't say I've ever been inclined to think I could fly after taking them myself though, and had some pretty serious mexican shrooms in the past too, I gues it's just what you are used to.

Concerning the incidents with shrooms(Paddo's) inAmsterdam with those tourists, jumping out of a window and the other one
butchering a dog in the back of a van...
The shrooms had nothing to do with it. Do some research and get your facts right.
Those people had used Alcohol, LSD, and cocaine..
